Kenya Airways 787 parked in Paris for two days takes off

A Kenya Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner that lost an access panel during flight has left Paris, France, after spending at least two days at the airport.

Sources at Paris first reported on Wednesday (24 September) that the aircraft would be spending the night there.

The next day, Thursday 25 September, the aircraft was still at Paris. Hints began emerging that the aircraft was awaiting spare parts due to an undisclosed technical issue.

This morning, our source in Paris reported that the Kenya Airways 787 left yesterday (26 September). The source says that the aircraft was grounded in Paris due to the loss of an access panel during flight.

The most likely destination for the aircraft would be Kenya Airways’ home base in Nairobi.
