The website, http://www.jambojet.com, has been live for some time but booking options are to be activated this morning, says the airline.

The low cost carrier will have daily flights from Nairobi to Mombasa, Kisumu and Eldoret with fares as low as Kshs2,850 (US$33) one way.

On Monday (24 February 2014), JamboJet announced that it had partnered with mobile technology firm Cellulant to enable booking and payment through M-Pesa, Airtel Money and banks such as Barclays, Standard Chartered, CfC Stanbic, NIC, Faulu, Bank of Africa, DTB, Ecobank, I&M and First Community Bank.

Jambojet plans to eventually extend its services beyond Kenya, but a definite date for the start of regional flights is yet to be announced.
